Primary duties include developing exhibition proposals, overseeing budgets of over $300,000, supervising curatorial staff, coordinating curatorial efforts with internal departments and outside vendors, sourcing and acquiring artifacts for exhibition, writing exhibition text and citations, art directing and designing exhibition graphics and layouts, assisting in installation, coordinating filmed oral histories and interviewing subjects, interacting with donors and lendors, performing museum tours, and representing the museums to the public.
